Leaves.

Fri Aug 28, 2009, 2:15 PM
Wow, I can't believe I last posted at the start of summer, over two months ago. All I can say is, things sure have changed. Wow. I can't believe that it's already junior year. School starts next Thursday. I'm so ill-equipped it isn't even funny. As long as drumline isn't an embarassment this year, I don't lose any (more) important people in my life, my grades stay decent and I get my car in three months, I think I'll be okay.

Autumn is a strange time of year. We all think foliage is such a beautiful thing. In essence we're watching everything die. And we think it's beautiful. And then during winter we complain at how barren everything is, while in reality things are rejuvenating just beneath our feet. And then in spring we marvel at the reemergence, and then in summer complain of the heat when its really the only time we can enjoy the warmth. And to think I used to think leaves changing color was a good thing. Things change.

I do pretty much everything. I originally joined in 2007 to post lyrics, but then I got into photography, and tried my hand at drawing and such. It's basically between photography and lyrics, more the latter. I'm a friendly person, and will always make it a point to thank you for adding my work, and will reciprocate an add. I'm on here damn near everyday and am always looking for more art. :)

Home is behind, The world ahead. And there are many paths to tread.
Through shadow, To the edge of night Until the stars are all alight

Mist and shadow, Cloud and shade, All shall fade, All shall...fade.
